Kay Green

Kay is the Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of the Bank of Montana. Kay’s duties include all aspects of operations management: compliance; financial reporting; security; technology; planning; and maintenance.
Background
Kay’s professional banking experience is extensive. In a community bank in Colorado, her experience included all aspects of operations, including holding positions as Vice President/Cashier, Operations Officer, Compliance Officer, and Training Officer. After relocating to Arizona, she served as the assistant to the Controller/Chief Financial Officer of a de novo community bank in Tucson which experienced rapid growth during her tenure. Other previous experience includes over six years as a high school mathematics teacher. Kay holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and Physics with an emphasis in Education, and she holds a current teaching certificate. She has completed courses from the American Institute of Banking, the Center for Financial Training for Compliance, and from Payment Resource One for ACH accreditation.

Interests
Two of Kay’s children live in the Missoula area, so she feels a sense of coming home moving here from Tucson. She looks forward to the camping, hiking and outdoor recreation of Montana.
